Private Guard response for Security monitoring

Alarm Response
Private Guard

Our private guard program utilizes a network of local companies that have the physical coverage necessary to respond promptly to any residential or business security alarm. When our monitoring station receives an alarm notification, they swiftly follow the client's instructions to dispatch the closest guard while simultaneously contacting the property owners to notify them and verify the signals received.

Once we dispatch the guard to the specified address, we meticulously track and document all movement. The monitoring station is promptly informed whether it's a real alarm or a false one, allowing them to reach out to you, our valued client. Additionally, a detailed report is made available so you can review all movement—from the initial alarm signal through dispatch and response.

Our commitment to safety and efficiency ensures that your security needs are met with professionalism and precision. If you have any further questions or require additional information,

Alarm Response
Police

Regional Police Departments are now requiring home owners and business to register their property with an annual fee so they can provide alarm response.

Police departments across the country have increasingly been prioritizing response to alarm systems dispatches due to the high percentage of false alarms generated by alarm security systems. However, most false alarms are caused by user error and in some cases improper installation of detection devices by alarm system installers that are not properly trained.  As a result, most regional police forces have implemented expensive false alarm programs that impose expensive fines while lowering their response priority for alarm system dispatches and in some cases, they are not responding at all!

This lower priority means it may take police to respond beyond and acceptable timeframe and could potentially lead to a tragic situation in the event of an actual emergency. However, the police will respond much more quickly if they have a verified break-in or emergency.

Verified Alarm Response

**Verified Alarm Response Program (VARP)** is a critical initiative implemented by several police departments across the country. The program aims to address the high percentage of false alarms generated by alarm security systems. While false alarms are often caused by user error or improper installation of detection devices, they consume valuable police resources and can lead to delays in responding to genuine emergencies.

Under VARP, alarm companies, monitoring centers, and citizens must verify an alarm before police are dispatched. Verification can occur through various means:

1. **Two-way voice communication**: Confirming a security breach through direct communication.
2. **Video confirmation**: Providing visual evidence of criminal activity.
3. **Key-holder communication**: Verifying unauthorized activation or a breach.
4. **Cross-zone activation**: When two or more independent alarm devices are activated.

Importantly, VARP allows police to focus on verified emergencies, ensuring faster response times and reducing unnecessary dispatches for false alarms. While panic, hold-up, or duress alarms remain exempt from verification requirements, the overall goal is to enhance public safety through efficient and effective alarm response.
